Me and my friend have together almost a year. If you go) is not crazy with gifts (lol hell, but I want to do something special for him. So far, what we do is the same park, we went when we started, and I make him a homemade card. Id away from all the book .. I have something for a birthday .. but any suggestion would be amazing!

Well, it depends. To my friend and I went sky diving 1-birthday. It was really surprising, but if you're short of money, it is perhaps not the best option (as it cost us about $ 200 per). Other things that we have had our own picnic, and other things, made dinner every other, even sleep together can be fun. I think something personal, like a homemade card would be perfect, or even write (not type) a letter indicating how much she means to you. Remember to keep a personal dimension, and not to forget the little things that their realationship (for example), a song or your favorite place. I hope it helps!
