Syringe Needle Gauge A Hypodermic Syringe Has A Plunger Of Area 2.5 Cm^2 And A 5.0 X 10^-3 Cm^2 Needle?

A hypodermic syringe has a plunger of area 2.5 cm^2 and a 5.0 X 10^-3 cm^2 needle? - syringe needle gauge

(a) When a force of 1.0 N was on the piston, is used for the relative pressure in the chamber of the syringe?
(b) If the obstruction is small at the tip of the needle, which the force exerted on it liquid?
(c) If the pressure of blood in a vein of 50 mm Hg, the force on the piston must be implemented so that the liquid can be injected into the vein?

Piston area = A = 10 2.5 * ^ -4 m ^ 2

Needle = A = 5.0 x 10 ^ -7 m ^ 2

(a) The applied force on the piston F = 1.0 N

Gauge = F / A = 1 / * 10 2.5 ^ -4 = 4000 Pa

(b) the force at the tip of the needle = f = Pressure * Area = 4000 * * 10 5 ^ -7 = 2 * 10 ^ -3 N

(c) Blood pressure = p = 50 * 10 ^ -3 * 13600 * 9.8 = 6664 pa

The force on the piston must = P * A * 6664 * 10 = 2.5 ^ -4 = 1.6656 N applied

1.6656 N force have come to be applied to the piston
