I remember that story when I started college years.

An introduction to a document is a good place to make your reader an idea of what is to speak for the rest of the document. In the first sentence could be their fall / argue / tour / position so that your problem. The rest of the paragraph may contain statements of support or grounds to support his thesis.

I. Thesis
a. suppporting Declaration 1
b. Support Statement 2
c. Supporting the proposition 3 (etc., etc., etc.)

What is good for your document in this way, that is when writing the body of the document as a guide to follow as well. Its role will be better organized and better circulation.
You write a few paragraphs in the development of ideas of the Declaration of Support 1 Then do the same with the rest of his statements and justifications. Usually she has asked me to consist of statements and explanations in the introductory paragraph.

To celebrate, we can take everything that was said in the body of your document and give some recent findings on this issue.
